We’re bursting with pride to announce some fantastic news here at GYWPride: we’ve officially become a member of Consortium! This is a huge milestone for us, and we wanted to share our excitement and what it means for our community.
For those who do not know, Consortium is the national membership organisation for LGBTQ+ groups, projects, and organisations across the UK. They’re a powerhouse of support, dedicated to strengthening and developing the LGBTQ+ voluntary and community sector. And frankly, that’s exactly where we want to be!
GYWPride has always been committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for the LGBTQ+ community in Great Yarmouth and Waveney. We strive to empower individuals, celebrate diversity, and advocate for equality. Joining Consortium allows us to amplify our efforts and reach even greater heights.
Why is this so important?
Being part of Consortium opens up a wealth of opportunities for GYWPride. We’ll have access to:
