GREAT YARMOUTH & WAVENEY PRIDE CELEBRATES SELL-OUT “CAMPING IT UP BY THE COAST” ADULT ONLY FUNDRAISER AT THE ICE HOUSE
GREAT YARMOUTH — Great Yarmouth and Waveney Pride is thrilled to announce the roaring success of its recent Pride Fundraiser, “Camping it up by the Coast,” which saw a packed house gather for an unforgettable night of community, celebration, and world-class entertainment.
The themed event drew a vibrant crowd of 140 attendees to The Ice House, generously provided by Out There Arts. The historic venue was completely alive, boasting an electric atmosphere where guests danced, cheered, and showed overwhelming support for the local LGBTQ+ community.
The night featured a stellar lineup of local and national talent, including show-stopping performances by:
- Lucinda La-Whore
- Charley Pixie
- Ivy Afrodite
- Trans Charming
- A headline performance by the sensational Charra Tea, royalty from Season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
“The energy in the room for ‘Camping it up by the Coast’ was completely unmatched,” said a spokesperson for Great Yarmouth and Waveney Pride. “We are incredibly grateful to Out There Arts for letting us use the beautiful Ice House, to our phenomenal performers who brought the house down, and to every single person who bought a ticket. This success proves just how vital and strong our community is.”
Looking Ahead to Pride 2026
With the fundraiser officially a triumph, the organisation is pivoting full steam ahead towards its flagship event. The main Great Yarmouth and Waveney Pride Festival is officially scheduled for August 29, 2026.
Tickets for the August festival will go live in the coming weeks. Organisers urge the public to keep a close eye on official social media channels for the upcoming ticket drop and lineup announcements.
